What are all these terms.. stream, buffering?

Jargon, mostly. But when you're talking about Internet Radio stations, it does help to be familiar with some of the lingo. Live365.com has put together a page of definitions that may be useful: Glossary.
And another great resource for Web and Internet terms is the Webopedia.
